Picking up the Pen Name

I started this blog about 5 years ago when I was stuck with my writing.  I hoped that writing in anonymity would help me get unstuck.  Unfortunately, in many ways, I'm still in the same fearful place.  There's much I want to say, but in a day an age of instant response and social media, I still want to maintain some privacy.

And so, I pick up my pen name once again.  Maybe writing here will help me sift through the things that are happening, the people who are confusing me, and the emotions that are swirling.

Maybe one day, I'll live up to this nom de plume and actually find those guts that I envy in so many writers who spill their deepest secrets on a wide open page.  For now, this is where I find myself and "a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step", right?

So, here I go...
